The 4 C's

What are the 4 C's?

These are the skills our students need to succeed. Here is what they represent:

  • Critical Thinking -  Critical thinkers must engage in learning experiences that require depth and complexity, the ability to question data, consider various perspectives of issues, determine patterns of information, form judgments, and present individual points of view with evidence and logical reasoning.

  • Creative Thinking - Creativity includes innovation, original ideas, and risk-taking.

  • Collaboration -  Collaborating involves sharing with others, respecting knowledge, cultures, differences, and viewpoints.

  •  Communication - Effective communication skills includes clearly expressing their thoughts to various audiences and for a range of purposes.

We have been working on attributes of a critical thinker in our classrooms. Wendie and I
