Ready for Valentine's Day?

We wanted to create a "Reading to Learn" booklet that would be perfect for close reading this coming week. As we all know,  keeping our students attention so close to such a special holiday is tough- so Wendie and I decided to write an informational booklet about the heart in hopes that it would help.

    Got here a bit to late for this year, I'll remember for next year. I am using the February themed book George Washington-America's First President (level J) as my informational text next week. There is a guide for it at http://monthbymonth.scholastic.com/printables.html which makes it a bit easier to plan.
