February Currently

Where did January go? This past month is a complete blur... it just flew by. Maybe that's why I haven't posted since January 1st?!! (sigh).
Thanks Farley, from Oh' Boy 4th Grade for getting me back on my blog and setting some new goals for blogging. A great way to get back on track is with Currently, YaY!

Listening: I love "Thinking out Loud" by Ed Sheeran. The lyrics are so beautiful to me- loving that special person in the present, no matter how old, strong, or popular.
"When your legs don't work like they used to before
And I can't sweep you off of your feet
Will your mouth still remember the taste of my love
Will your eyes still smile from your cheeks..."

Loving: Went to Vintique Alley in Riverside with Wendie and saw some lovely antique/junky/old items. Totally things I love!! I bought this sign to add to my Valentine's Day decor.

Thinking: It's time to update my miniature garden. My plants have done really well, but I want to change up the miniatures I have. Maybe something Valentine-ish or I really love the idea of a farm scene.

Wanting: After 20 years of teaching I realized that the most comfortable shoes for me are flats. I love  booties for fall/winter and flats for Spring/Summer.  So, I start now looking for the most perfect flats to get me through the school year and keep my footsies happy. I have been trying to find the perfect pink flats. I really want a perfect combination of pink/nude and comfort. Any suggestions?

Needing: My students love STEM activities and I need to find one that works well for Valentine's Day. Have you used any STEM activities that you or your students have enjoyed and learned from?

Pageant Title: I have become an expert online shopper and it is seldom for me to step foot in a store. I love the ease and convenience of online shopping-plus I love being able to find the best price.

  1. Your miniature garden is absolutely adorable. They have a big one here in Canberra, Australia called Cockington Green.
I also share your love of Ed Sheeran's latest song. I do love all his music though. His songs make any subject seem beautiful.

  2. I love Ed Sheeran! I saw him 2 summers ago with Taylor Swift. He is fantastic live! I've heard Tieks are THE flat...but their price makes me very hesitant!

  3. Flats are definitely my best friend and I have only been teaching half as long! What a cute miniature garden! I love that idea! I am sure it takes a lot less tending than our garden too!
    Have a great week!
